Academic Calendar

Instead of semesters or quarters, the majority of courses and programs at the College are offered in an open-entry, open-exit format. Open-entry permits students to enroll any time during the year and begin classes on the following Monday. Apprenticeship and practical nursing courses have specific start and end dates. Contact the Enrollment Office, 627-8463, for the most current course schedule.

Critical Workplace Skills

Each occupation includes a series of Critical Workplace Skills courses. These courses develop practical job skills that will help students be more successful with their new employer and co-workers.

These courses include:

• Computer Literacy
• Workplace Relations
• Job Seeking Skills
• Math

Certificate/Degree Outlines

Certificate and degree outlines list the courses that are required to complete a specific training occupation. The outline lists the length of each course in clock-hours. These hours represent the amount of time it takes the average student to demonstrate the required competencies for the course. All required courses on the outline must be completed in order to receive a certificate or degree.
