Your Instructor(s)
Hi. I am Jim Andrews. I have over 25 years of experience in the electrical maintenance field with most of that spent at Weber School District and Robertson Systems. I also have additional experience with Whitehead Electric, Inc. and Weber State University as a theatrical electrician. I completed the Ogden-Weber Electrician Apprenticeship Program and recieved my Journeyman License in 1991. I received my Master Electrician License and Electrical Instructor License fromt he State of Utah DOPL in 2000. I also have a U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeships and Training Certificate as an Electrician. I began my teaching career as the 3rd year Electrical Instructor in 1991 and still teach apprentices today. In 1995, I began the Electrical Technician Program and transferred to the Industrial Automation Maintenance department in 2000. Teaching and electricity are passions I have had all my life. I started by making my first electric motor in 8th grade. Sharing my experiences and knowledge is the best way I can help students as my mentors taught me. Our team of instructors is here to help you through your training needs. Please feel free to contact us:
