Admission Requirements

There are no specific admission requirements for this certificate.

• High school students and adults seeking federal financial aid may need to complete additional testing.
• Students are encouraged to meet with an academic counselor before enrolling to discuss abilites, needs, and interests.

As a Cosmetologist/Barber, you will be working in a beauty salon or barber shop performing customer services such as coloring, rolling and applying permanents, applying makeup, cutting, and styling. You will be required to earn and maintain a state license.The approximate completion time for the Cosmetology Certificate is 1600 hours or 16 months at 40 hours per week and maintaining 100% progress.

Note:  Students need to purchase their books and kit in the college Bookstore prior to their first day of class.

M-Th  9:30 am – 9:00 pm
F          8:00 am – 3 pm

Roy Campus Final Touch Salon:
M-Th  8 am - 7 pm
F          8 am – 3 pm
