What VA Education Benefits are available at Ogden-Weber Tech College?

How to apply for Post 9/11, Montgomery GI Bill, Chapter 35, and Chapter 1606 benefits:

What you’ll need to start your benefits:

  • An appointment with Veterans Specialist (Call (801) 627-8339)
  • Certificate of Eligibility from VA. Need a replacement? Call (888) 442-4551
  • DD-214 Member 4 (If lost, request one HERE)
  • College transcripts (if you have any)
  • Change of Place/Program, can be found HERE (Turn in to the Veterans Specialist)
  • Completed OWATC VA Guidelines form
  • Completed OWATC Prior Credit form

How to apply for V.A. Vocational Rehabilitation Benefits:

Must have identified service related disability certified by VA.

How long will it take before I receive my benefits?

It can take up to two months for the VA to begin paying your benefits.

What are the academic standards for VA educational benefit eligibility?

For non-VA Rehab benefits, 80% monthly attendance and 70% cumulative progress.

For VA Rehab benefits, speak with your assigned case worker.
