How to apply for Post 9/11, Montgomery GI Bill, Chapter 35, and Chapter 1606 benefits:

What you’ll need to start your benefits:
- An appointment with Veterans Specialist (Call (801) 627-8309)
- Certificate of Eligibility from VA. Need a replacement? Call (888) 442-4551
- DD-214 Member 4 (If lost, request one HERE [3])
- College transcripts (if you have any)
- Change of Place/Program, can be found HERE [4] (Turn in to the Veterans Specialist)
- Completed OWATC VA Guidelines form [5]
- Completed OWATC Prior Credit Form [6]
How to apply for V.A. Vocational Rehabilitation Benefits:
Must have identified service related disability certified by VA.

How long will it take before I receive my benefits?
It can take up to two months for the VA to begin paying your benefits.
What are the academic standards for VA educational benefit eligibility?
For non-VA Rehab benefits, 80% monthly attendance and 70% cumulative progress.
For VA Rehab benefits, speak with your assigned case worker.
