You’re invited to an open house to showcase our newly-renovated Sheet Metal and Welding training facilities. This event will be an interactive experience focusing on student successes and local companies that support these programs.

WELDING CONTEST INFORMATION
High School Students
- Students will be selected from each school by their instructor.
- All high school contestants will compete on the day of the open house, Tuesday, September 21, 1:00-3:00 p.m.
- The contest will involve Arc welding on mild steel
- Contestants may provide their own welding hood, leathers, gloves, etc. or if they do not have their own equipment it will be provided.

Post High School Division
- Adult contestants must compete in a preliminary contest and the winners of this contest will compete in the final contest on Tuesday, September 21, 3:00-6:00 p.m.
- The contest will require contestants to use the TIG process on Aluminum
- Contestants may provide their own welding hood, leathers, gloves, etc. or if they do not have their own equipment it will be provided.
