Position Title: Plumbing Apprentice Instructor (HOURLY)

Brief Description: Responsible for providing technical instruction for students enrolled in the Plumbing Apprenticeship program and helping apprentices prepare for the state of Utah Licensure Exam. Additional responsibilities include curriculum development and implementation, verifying student competencies, student advisement, meeting student retention, membership and placement goals, maintaining student records, budget management, marketing courses and maintaining contact with area employers.

Requirements: Minimum of six years of related work experience and completion of a formal apprenticeship program. Must possess a current Utah Commercial Plumber License. Preference will be given to those individuals that have teaching experience. Familiar with word processing, email and can operate a Windows-based personal computer.

Wage: $25.00/hour

Working Hours: 5:30 – 9:30 pm/ 8 hours per week

Benefits: No Benefits Package Included

Position Title: Medical Coding Instructor (Full-Time; Salaried)

Brief Description: Responsible for providing technical instruction for students enrolled in the Medical Coder program. Course content areas include procedural, diagnostic and advanced coding. Additional responsibilities include: curriculum development and implementation; verifying student competencies; student advisement; meeting student retention, completion, licensure and placement goals; supervising student internships/externships; maintaining student records; budget management; marketing courses; and, maintaining contact with area employers.

Requirements: Must have a minimum of three (3) years of related work experience in procedural and diagnostic coding. Preference will be given to those individuals with a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology, Health Information Management or related field. Individual must hold current Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credentials from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credential from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Preference may be given to those individuals with teaching experience.

Salary Range: $42,000 – $63,000 per year

Working Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday
