What's Happening in Spanish for the Workplace:

The program for conversational Spanish consists of three levels of conversational Spanish, the first of which is the point of departure for students who have had little or no instruction in the language. Upon completion of one level, students are encouraged to take subsequent levels to continue working with the language. If a student feels he or she is beyond the first level and is interested in taking a higher level course, the student should make an appointment to consult with the instructor before enrolling.

A similar version of the program is available to local businesses who find a need to develop language ability to facilitate communication in the workplace either with coworkers or due to travel. The key feature of the Spanish classes offered to businesses is that the business is encouraged to provide input which shapes the curriculum and tailors the instruction to the needs of employees and the business as a whole. Some basic themes in communication are still necessary in order to build a working knowledge of the language.
